This policy explains what information Meower collects when you use this website, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we collect

Browsing this site does not require an account. We do not ask for your name, address or payment details to read product pages or the blog.

If you email us or use a quote link, we receive whatever you include in that message — typically your name, email address, company, country and the products you are interested in.

  • Cart contents are stored in your own browser (localStorage) so the cart survives a page refresh. They are not sent to us until you check out.
  • Orders and payments are handled by Shopify on its own checkout domain; Meower does not see or store your card details.
  • Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) for security and abuse prevention.

How we use it

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send marketing email to people who have not asked for it.

  • To answer enquiries, prepare quotations and fulfil orders.
  • To provide warranty and after-sales support for products you have bought.
  • To keep the site secure and to understand which pages are used, in aggregate.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the services needed to run the shop: Shopify (checkout, payment and order management) and our hosting and email providers. Those providers process the data on our behalf.

We may also disclose information where we are legally required to do so.

How long we keep it

Enquiry emails are kept for as long as needed to answer them and to support any resulting order or warranty claim. Order records are kept by Shopify for the period required by tax and accounting rules.

Your choices

To do any of these, email [email protected]. You can also clear the cart stored by this site at any time by emptying your browser storage.

  • Ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct or delete it, where we are not required to keep it.
  • Withdraw consent to being contacted at any time.

Cookies and local storage

This site does not use advertising cookies. It uses browser storage for the shopping cart and to remember that a promotional panel has already been shown in the current session.
